We collect as little as we can.
Draft summary for review — the full privacy policy is still to be written and checked against Australian Privacy Principles and school requirements.
Student information
Students are recorded by first name and surname initial only (for example, “Mia T.”), linked to their school. We don’t ask students for email addresses, phone numbers or an app download.
Check-in responses
Responses are used to show each school how its cohort is progressing. Anything shared beyond the school, including with government partners, is pooled and de-identified.
Where it’s stored
Data will be hosted in Australia. Only authorised school staff and the Hope Starter team can access a school’s records.
